Summer is almost here! It’s so exciting that it’s finally the season to go outside and enjoy the sunshine. Here are a couple of tips for summer wellness.

1. Stay hydrated and drink lemon water

Hydration is key during the summer. I get it that sometimes water is just plain, and you want to drink something different. Lemon water with fresh mint is the perfect substitute. Lemon water helps you detox and gives your body natural electrolytes. It also provides sufficient Vitamin C and antioxidants to maintain your body’s energy. Additionally, it also helps with weight loss and better skin. Sometimes I also add some fresh mint or cucumbers to make the lemon water even more refreshing. This is the perfect drink for the summer.


2. Use new hair care

Sunshine is great to enjoy, but sometimes UVA and UVB rays can damage our hair. Personally, I find my hair to be drier during the summer, and it is difficult to pick the perfect hair care products because there are so many options and they may not all fit my needs. Customization is a trend now in every industry, including the cosmetics industry. Now several companies allow us to customize our own shampoo and conditioner formulas based on our specific needs.

3. Stay active

Invite your friends to make the walks more interesting. You could also go for a bike ride in a park, which is super fun, and the breeze will help with the heat. Also, you could go kayaking, hiking, and swimming. The woods will provide perfect shading in summer, and what can be more fun than spending quality time with your friends in great weather!
