Superfoods!
Prioritizing having healthy meals always makes me feel more energized and happy. Fueling my body is especially important when I have stressful days with exams, lots of screen time, and busy meetings. I compiled a list of my favorite foods/snacks that keep me full and make me feel good as a reference sheet to feeling great.
Favorite Superfoods
● Blueberries
● Avocado
● Spinach
● Dragonfruit
● Kale (specifically on a salad with apples)
● Tuna!!!
● Açai berries
● Almonds or roasted walnuts
● Kiwi
Favorite Off-Campus Spots
● Cava - go to grains and greens bowl with grilled chicken
● Maman - run to Suburban Square for their omelets and amazing breakfast bowls ● The Juice Pod - love their açai bowls
● Honeygrow - always in the mood for sesame garlic stir-fry
● The Refectory - expensive, on-campus bite but worth it for the tuna pizza ● Veekoo - newfound obsession. You must go. Awesome sushi.
● Bryn Mawr Farmers Market - grab some fresh produce every Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm, April 1-December 30 at the BM Train Station
Easy to find at Nova
● Conn Convenience
○ Dark chocolate - must have Justin’s Peanut Butter Cups
○ Trü frü - chocolate-covered frozen fruits that are fantastic
○ Various mixed-nut/trail mix packs
○ Fruit - bananas, apples, etc!
● Rosie’s smoothies!
● Breakfast options
○ Oatmeal
○ Fruit bowl (my favorite is in St. Mary’s if you can make the trek)
○ Omelet stations
● Spit stir-fry
● Pit edamame dumplings - huge crowd pleaser
● Make your own salad - throw in some avocado, carrots, nuts, edamame, oranges or seeds
As always, listen to your body and fuel yourself to get through the next few weeks with some of these objectively yummy superfoods.
