Two weekends ago, after hearing multiple rave reviews, I finally made my way to Terrain Garden Cafe in Devon, PA. I can truly say that this restaurant lived up to the incredible hype that led to my visit. If you’re looking for a spot to get off campus and explore, hoping to enjoy a delicious brunch, or planning a nice dinner with friends, Terrain Cafe serves all of these purposes. Terrain has a few locations across the United States, and thankfully the Devon location is a quick fifteen-minute drive from campus.

Terrain offers a wide variety of options as it is open for brunch from 9am to 4pm and dinner from 4pm to 8pm. If you’re a breakfast lover like me and prefer breakfast food into the early afternoon, this is the perfect place to go. Their food changes seasonally, but the spring menu is packed with delicious choices, and I can’t recommend the Smoked Salmon Toast enough. Additionally, they offer unique barista made coffee specials like the Lavender Oat Milk Latte and Iced Honey Nut Latte, served in adorable mason jars. Just make sure you call and make a reservation before heading over!

The atmosphere perfectly complements their incredible menu. The airy, open feel created by floor to ceiling windows and greens hung about the space create an adorable earthy ambiance that is perfect for getting into the swing of spring. As the winter wears off and days get longer, Terrain also offers patio seating to enjoy the sunshine.

It doesn’t stop there! Terrain is not just a restaurant. They also sell an enormous assortment of plants and beautiful natural looking home decor, even venturing into products like candles and skin care. On a sunny spring afternoon, Terrain was the perfect place to wander looking through the blooming flowers and decor. Additionally, this store is directly connected to an incredibly spacious Anthropologie if you’re looking to shop for clothes, home goods, or accessories.

Next time you’re bored of the typical dinner spot and are itching to get off campus for a little adventure, make sure you give Terrain Cafe a try. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed!
