What's in Your Christmas Shopping Bag?

What's in Your Christmas Shopping Bag?

Happy December! It is now that time of year where you may find yourself stressing about what to get friends and family for Christmas. Well, I’ve been browsing the mall lately and can’t help but notice how much easier it is becoming to buy Christmas gifts.

So many goodies are coming in gift boxes, with miniature sized products, such as perfume, makeup, or bath and moisturizer sets. The beauty of these box sets is that they include plenty of options in miniature form, so that the lucky gift receiver can try out a variety of goodies. If they don’t like one, they have more to choose from.

When it comes to buying a gift for your makeup-lover friend, consider a Kylie Lip Kit Mini Set. I would stick to glosses, because not everyone is a fan of matte lipstick. Glosses are subtler but add a touch of sparkle, which you can never go wrong with. For instance, Kylie’s Holiday High Gloss Trio is a great gift. It comes with three mini glosses in peach, pink, and frosty shades. If you want a more well-rounded makeup gift, you can try the Candy K Try It Kit, which includes a lip liner, a liquid matte and velvet lipstick, two shimmery eye shadows, highlighter, and blush. It’s essentially every makeup lover’s dream. You can purchase Kiley’s Holiday Primer and Illuminating Set, for the gift of skincare.

Aside from makeup, another great gift idea is a mini perfume bundle. Viktor&Rolf have the Flowerbomb Fragrance Set, which comes with travel and regular size perfumes, and has been on sale for half off on the Bloomingdale’s website. This is personally my favorite perfume set. You should also look at the Lancome La Ville Est Belle Set, which includes a perfume, a moisturizer, and body wash.

Also, you can’t go wrong buying someone fun fuzzy socks! With the dropping temperatures, these will always be appreciated and are available to purchase almost anywhere. Fuzzy socks are also one of the more economical gifts, and might be an appropriate price point for a Secret Santa gift exchange. No one dislikes fuzzy socks during the winter!

So whether you have the time to put a lot of thought into a gift, or if you need some quick options because you have so many gifts to buy, hopefully you have some new ideas!
