Out with the Old and In with the New: The Perfect Palette for Any Season
By Fifi Fraga
Whether you are a beginner at makeup or an expert, there is a palette you can purchase that can meet any need: the revamped Urban Decay Naked palette. The original Urban Decay Naked Palette was discontinued but came back as the Naked Reloaded Palette. So what makes it different than the original?
The new palette comes packed with basic neutral colors, yet adds a hint of trend. It comes with shimmer shades which are easy to work with and great for mixing and matching with one another. There are also basic matte shades to apply to the crease of your eye, such as a neutral brown, a warm desert sand brown, coral pink, and white.
The palette contains a gold shimmer shade and a white shimmer shade which each serve to create a basic yet glowy daytime look. For an evening look, you have neutral color options, like a stunning gray/brown shimmer shade, and a less shimmery solid brown shade. To add depth to the outer corner of the eye for a natural brown look, there is a dark chocolate brown. These colors especially compliment hazel and green eyes.
For a trendy nighttime look, the palette includes a range of pink tones. These shades replaced the gunmetal and dark grey and black shades that were included in the original Naked palette. Now that pink is in, and the dark smoky eye is out (for now), the Reloaded Palette makes it easy to be trendy. The coral pink matte shade goes well with the white shimmery shade on the palette for a daytime look. For a bolder nighttime look, there is a shimmery copper shade which goes onto the lid very well with very little fallout. For a subtler shimmery look, there is a rose-gold shade that you can use for a daytime look.
The beauty of the palette is that the shades are easy to apply. They are simple yet stunning. However, you can still play around and enhance basic looks by layering shades. It is a staple palette for beginners and experts alike.
So reload your look. Keep up with the trends and stick with the classics, all with the Naked Reloaded palette.
