We want to encourage Villanova University to be the healthiest it can be. And when we say ‘healthiest,’ we mean it in all respects. For mind, body, and spirit, we hope to provide students with the outlets and resources to lead their best lives.
The Be Well team is comprised of individuals who want to share their passions for health, wellness, and culture with the community. These motivated people want to share everything in a balanced perspective. Successes + failures. Motivation + relaxation. Favorite food + favorite drink. Tips for exploring the urban sprawl of Philly + finding the perfect hike for next weekend. = balance.
Thank you for supporting us in our quest of health. We hope you’ll join us along the way.
Be Well, Nova
A Boston native, Alyssa is wicked excited to be a part of the Be Well team. A senior at Villanova, Alyssa is a Communications major who loves learning about new cultures and exploring the world around her. One day, she hopes to travel to all seven continents. She is passionate about social justice and helping others, hoping to work for a mission driven company after graduation. Her interests include live music (of all kinds), traveling, family, friends, and the La Casa margarita at Besito.
Parker is an English and Creative Writing student at Villanova, originally from San Diego, CA. She is so excited to be a part of the Be Well team to work with other fearless writers pursuing our mission of health! Parker studied abroad in Copenhagen, vowing she’ll return to Russia someday to have pickles and vodka with her girls Masha and Nastya. In her spare time, Parker loves testing out new recipes, writing comedy bits, and giving in to her thirst for adventure. After graduation, she is looking forward to advancing her career in media and continuing to find new ways to help companies share their stories.
Sydney is a true New Yorker at heart. As a senior at Villanova pursuing a Communications major and a Business minor, Sydney is excited to combine her talents for content creation and digital marketing in her role on the Be Well and work with friends who share her passion for health and wellness. She doesn’t like hearing the g-word (graduation, of course), but hopes to start her career in the Big Apple post grad to be close to her family.
Besides reading Harry Potter in her free time, Sydney loves to write, create Pinterest boards for her next tattoo and go to Qdoba happy hour with her friends for margaritas in her budget. Sydney hopes to, one day, become a world-renowned author for her trilogy series she is working on.
Jane, originally from San Francisco, California, is a Communications major and Gender and Women’s Studies minor. She is thrilled to be a part of the Be Well team, as she is able to combine her passions for writing and wellness. She discovered a love for travel during her semester in Copenhagen, Denmark, and hopes that she can return one day to practice her limited Danish vocabulary.
When she’s not laughing at her own jokes, Jane enjoys listening to Sufjan Stevens, finding free testers at farmers markets, hiking, and making new friends! One day, Jane hopes to lead communication campaigns for nonprofit organizations.
